Hello,

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative for the Canon viewfinder (http://the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-Angle-Finder-C-Review.aspx). I have looked around on eBay and I have seen that I can get Chinese made 3rd party ones for about $60. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. Basically I'm just looking for something that can give me more precise focusing when doing macro.

Thanks,

Alex

You need liveview! Beg, borrow, or steal a camera with liveview and it will be 100 times better than any viewfinder.

Check the following sites:

www.dealextreme.com and www.focalprice.com.  I've ordered a number of items from both sites, cheap stuff.  Shipping is free!

I see focalprice has that Seagull one I saw on eBay. Do you know about the quality of it?

Hi deviousalex...

I came across the following reviews....

http://www.amazon.com/Seagull-Finder-Minolta-Olympus-cameras/dp/B000CS40WY

It also includes Canon.

Quality, I'm not sure but you are saving well over $100 for this product.

Hope this helps
