Hey!
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a periodic themed "assignment" on here. Basically someone would post a theme, subject, adjective, etc and then we could all post pictures of that, preferably taken after the announcement of the theme. If we can get enough people interested in something like that I think it would help us all grow as photographers. Take the poll and let me know in responses!

Personally, I prefer the "Post your best ____ shot" for things like this. But I am not very active in those threads, so I am not totally against this idea.
This sounds like a fun and productive idea. I think setup shots and exif data are a must though.

I think this is a great idea. I think it would a great opportunity to see different peoples' interpretations of the assigned themes and ideas.

Maybe like a monthly or weekly theme to give people time to get submissions in.
Almost like over at the DPS forums.
I like this idea. It may help some folks who occasionally run into photographers block.
It looks like we have pretty broad interest, so I am going to start a new thread with the first assignment! If you guys have ideas please let me know, I need all the ones I can get!
