Beautiful shots as always. Went on a butterfly count over the weekend, and ended up with more than just butterflies: Setup was 40D + 300/2.8 + 2xTC and 5D II + 180/3.5 + 1.4xTC

I've gone through two copies of this lens and they both have a little movement when attached to the camera body. I have a handful of other lenses lighter and heavier (e.g. 70-200 f/2.8 IS) and they don't have any movement at all. The movement seems to be vertical only, not a side to side thing...

Had some success with this picture I think. Picked and held some pansies behind the weevil to add soem color. Canon EOS 40D, MP-E 65mm, 1/250, f/11, ISO100, MT-24EX twin light, handheld
