What a pickle I am in. Just wondering how you guys deal with this problem. I don't know about others who shop for camera gear but I have checked out both mom and pop camera stores and large chain retailers and of course the wonderful internet. I have received such good service at this one store,...

Hi there... I just purchased the Canon 70-200 2.8L IS USM and thrilled about the picture quality and the bokeh this lens is providing me. I did however notice, as usual, once I got home, a very tiny speck of dust (a particle of some sort) that looks to reside just under the front glass. It is really...

I've posted a few questions on here before, and I have another one now. I'm saving up for a lens that will be used for indoor sports (hockey and basketball), but also just for general purpose...I do like to shoot things other than just sports. I'll be using it for lots of things. My budget...

Another consideration is that the IS may not be the only difference between the two lenses. Looking at Bryan's magic mouse-over ISO chart comparing the 70-200mm F4 L IS vs. the non-IS version , it shows a massive improvement in image quality in the IS lens. Since the poor results on the non-IS lens...

You guys have been helping me a lot :) Thank you very much! Another question though, not quite related on this topic because I'm trying to get to the usability of the lenses and I'm gearing towards a f/2.8 U vs f/4 ISU comparison. so, we are comparing an f4 IS and an f/2.8 U (IS vs Aperture)...

I'm having the same dilemma right now in choosing between these two lenses. Some of my statements might be contradicting sometimes but it just shows how undecided I am. What I considered so far: The f4 IS has better image quality than the f2.8 IS The f4 IS has the latest IS The f4 IS is a lot cheaper...

I dont mean to crowd the forums with another "I need help" post, but I'm in a bit of a tricky situation. I think I've done my homework, but I remain paralyzed with actually making a decision. Background: -I have a 20D with the 18-55 kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8 II. -I like to shoot just...
