    Another consideration is that the IS may not be the only difference between the two lenses. Looking at Bryan's magic mouse-over ISO chart comparing the 70-200mm F4 L IS vs. the non-IS version , it shows a massive improvement in image quality in the IS lens.   • Prime Decision 85/60/50

    I am looking for a portrait and nature prime lens to go on an XSi. I have it narrowed down to the 85 f/1.8 and the ef-s 60 2.8 macro...and why not throw in the 50 1.4 for discussion. Thanks for the thoughts...

    I currently use a Canon XS and will probably upgrade to a XXD body eventually depending on what bodies are available then. Would you all suggest just getting both or sticking to one of them?
