Dave, Take a look at these links: Try to avoid to skimp on filter quality and size. The Z-Pro-sysytem may be limited to 20mm FF.

Pat those are contact lenses. Pat I really like that 1st Service Station shot.
Steve, I'm really digging those Vixen Zombies!!
Just in case there is a "slang language barrier" over the big...
Is it possible that you have accidentally turned on the lock button, just below the large quick control dial ("wheel")?
Absolutely, great shots everyone!
Brant I really like that 3rd shot with the fall colors contrasting against the low cloud cover.
Pat that 2nd shot looks so vibrant and clear!
Here's some background info from last week, when it was cancelled, but it's on live now.

Sure, I agree with the intentional tilting concept. However, it also has to do with the subject matter as well as the context of the pose (like a playful wedding pose).
As long as they like it...
Great shots Denise, they look wonderful!
I especially like the 2nd one.
On the 3rd shot, I would straighten out the water/horizon a little bit.
Welcome Jim!
I think that since you already took some shots and you feel that the sharpness is not there, then you should send it back to Canon for further adjustments.
I would call CPS first...
I think the noise looks very acceptable to me, and your settings look good too!
However, the image could benefit from some mild noise reduction software.
Hi Rich,
Welcome to the forums!
Here's a few links. Hopefully this will get you started:

A couple of other things to consider since you're going to snowshoe with the pack; I think it's a good idea to get an adventure camera backpack, that has ample space for food, clothes, hydration, and...
I haven't used the Arca Swiss or Acratech ballheads, but I do have a Wimberley and it is heavy to hike around with, but it's great for birds in flight.
I have a Markins Q20 Ballhead which is also...
I like the shot too! I have a feeling that you couldn't take a bad shot of yourself, you're one good looking dude!
Now, in the 2nd shot, that's what I call a point and shoot!

As always, thanks for the review Bryan, it sounds very promising!

Thanks for your input, John!
If anyone else is interested, the comparison of the photos look better in the Flickr lightbox.
Here's two more:

Thanks John, but then I'm not sure why the bokeh looks thinner and creamier on the 1DX?
As far as the AF goes, the 1Dx has the advantage with and without extenders. As far as the 1DX with...
I like the vertical better for this pose, but now I think it's a bit over-cropped, so you're losing some resolution.
Perhaps just take away some dead space from the right side of the frame of the...
Dave,
I'm really digging the 2nd and 4th one, nice work!
You also may want to try a portrait/vertical crop for the first one.
Rich
That looks like a winning combo to me!
I call it Luck combined with a skilled photographer to create a beautiful shot!:)
Yes, that, plus 700mm vs 650mm. That's why I choose f/7.1 on the 1DX, and f/6.3 on the MKIV on one of the sets of images.
I think the 2XIII will be even better.
That's a good question,...
It's the 2XII not 2XIII, and the 1.4XIII was the version III.
I have to say that the images from the 1DX have a really nice clean clarity and quality to them as compared to the MKIV files. The...
