I sold my 70-200 2.8L IS to purchase 100-400 4.5-5.6L IS which has more reach and it is fast focused with high ISO body like 5D2 and 1D4.

I thought 16-35 is UWA lens and 24-70 is a midrange. Both are perfect matched with FF like 1Ds series , 5Dc and 5D2.
