Here is my first HDR.
The flare is authentic as I'm shooting directly in the sun :P It would have been better if the tree on the right wasn't there.

good shots you got there :)
i've never been there myself :P
I agree with Keith, not unless you signed anything stating that you can't take pictures during the game, then they can't stop you. Also taking to consideration the location. It's a public place. If...
from EK bro :)
post more pics. hehe
nice set butchochoi! :)
btw, I'm from laguna :) and also a pipho member. same handle :)
Now that's kit <span style="color: red;"]Lens! [;)]
I suggest you save some more on a far better tripod. One that will take years before you would need an upgrade.
For me, I'm looking at the Benro A-500EX and will check on some Manfrotto tripods...
based from the shots you posted, i'd say have a reflector (a white piece of paper or cloth) on the other side of your main light to bounce the light and show more details or angle it to your liking....
you guys have posted amazing pictures!
I was actually thinking of doing my first HDR last weekend but Mother Nature said otherwise. it rained :(
Maybe this weekend then :P
@sean,
you really have a great flickr photostream. not only do you share your amazing shots, but you also show how you got them. cheers to you and keep up the good work :)
@jon, thats on 1/10 f8? that's a cool picture! I always wanted to take a good shot of the moon. but all i have is a 250mm :P
try increasing the shutter speed some more and use spot metering. since you're getting blown out shots, the objective is to try to get a bit of underexposed shots first then work from there on...
OT: Wes, that's a great shot!
I had this lens for quite sometime but I have never encountered this problem although this is widely known that the 17-55 is a vaccum cleaner. Maybe this is applicable to those who tend to do a lot...
For the 17-55 vs 24-70, it's a wide vs tele. but for your needs, shooting indoor games, i'd go for the 24-70 on your 50D. It gives you the extra reach that you need to take shots.

It's a great shot!
Sure wish mother nature gave you more blue skies or white clouds [;)]
canon rumors has just posted it. 70-200 f/2.8 IS II by Sept '09. :)
if Nikon priced their new glass with $2399, I think Canon would be releasing theirs around $2199. Or maybe I'm just imagining...
based from what you've said, i'd suggest the 70-200 as well.
:)
Wow, L-fever + trinity lens!
Congrats on your high-grade glasses :)
Btw, the only cure for L-fever is a good 'ol dose of empty bank accounts :P
+1 on the 85 1.8
i don't know of any other lens to suggest other than the 70-200 2.8L ISU but that is really an expensive glass. There are also other tele-primes that might help but I'm not sure...
For me it's the skin tone. The color of the hands doesn't match the color of the face. And I don't know if it's just my screen but I think it's a little reddish.
I'm still raising funds for a 70-200 2.8 IS and I'm sure if a new one comes out before the end of the year, I might still not have enough funds to do so but if they do release one, that will be my...
I can relate :)
It's what we call GAS (Gadget Acquiring Syndrome) :P I've said that the last lens I purchased would be the last but right now I'm slowly raising funds to get one of those 70-200s...
I'm from the Philippines :)
Nice to meet you all!
that my friend is the trinity lenses :) perfect for events photographers.
That's my dream line-up too coupled with a prime or two.
