I'm still confused what the problem with the picture is...but... Sheiky: I understand that you are joking, and you don't have to like cats, you don't even have to like Chinese people, but if you could just leave stereotypes and other such race-based 'observations' out of your "jokes" that would be appreciated. Thanks =

I've got the 7d and the 17-55 lens. The pictures originally came out ultra soft but that was because I had been only shooting in stupidly low light. When I shot on a nice day, not too much sun, some cloud coverage, I got tack sharp images handheld, even with my aperture wide open at 2.8! Hope this helps?

OMG. I found two options on both of those brands that you gave me! Thank you so much. And if you DO find some more brands, PLEASE let me know =)! Thank you thank you thank you!

Okay, maybe not pink (but preferably). But does anyone know any good and ATTRACTIVE camera bags out there? Nothing major, just enough for my 7d and attached lens. I've googled some and seen some at the camera stores around the city (Toronto) but I have to say I think they're all ugly. I'm a girl by the way, if you haven't figured that

So I changed the focus to only focusing on the centre of the frame. I THINK its helped, but I was shooting in daylight today so I will test this out tonight. I have found that indeed f/4 range is sharper, but the point if my getting this lens is that I can use it in low light with aperture wide open. Otherwise...what was the point of getting a 2.8 if

Lol thank you for putting a smile on my face. Anyways... So I've tested my lens in daylight (FINALLY) and I'm too lazy to post my results but it is indeed sharp with enough light out even AT 2.8. Not so much when about 1-1.5m away from the subject though (no zoom). Is that normal? Also, is it normal that I cannot get a sharp image at 2.8 in

I am not sure what you mean by focus point? I have tried all metering options on the camera including, evaluative, partial, spot, and centerweighted average...I am assuming that the AF points that I see through my viewfinder are what the camera is focusing on right? Objects are not moving, and the only movement I'm contributing may or may not be

You try telling him that! Ugh. a wijajlkd awjds lkjsjlkdalsd. Anyways, here is a...ugh...my attempt at a test chart. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/7687/sdfsdfuu.jpg

If that jerk would come see me I just might try out his lens...but...lets not get into that. I thought that the 17-55 is supposed to be sharp wide open. "This lens is sharp! Wide open and from edge to edge. Unless the distance is close that is - I'm finding that close subjects do not produce the same image sharpness as normal distance subjects
