Glad you're liking the 5DII. Like you, I find it really shines for indoor shooting in marginal light.

Nice one JKS. Some of the features I love.

    - Skins tones. For some reason skin tones are simply stunning.

    - Colour is perfect straight out of camera. To me it

It DOES rock. Denise, looking at your current setup, you can sell your EF-S 17-55 and 70-200 f/4 IS and purchase one used (or possibly new). []

That way, your 24-105L, 35L, 135L and Sigma 85 will all come to life on the 5D Mark II. And you can still use the 7D and 100-400L for wildlife photography, and use the 5D II and 35L/135L for low light shooting.

    Just saying... []

Oh believe me, I have thought about it ALOT!! I've decided to sit tight on it for awhile and make a decision come spring. That will alsogive Canon 4 months to come out with the 5D Mk III! That is if I can hold out that long ...threads like this one isn't making that very easy!

I think there was a "things I hate most about my 5DII" thread a while back. Maybe you should take a read of that []

im having a bit of bad thoughts to sell my 35mm and 5d mki to get the 5d mk2 and the 85mm 1.8! im actually thinking of that or selling the 35mm f/14l to get the 85mm 1.2 ii!

I think what I like most about my 5D2 is low light performance. It opens up so many new possibilities.

    @ Daniel

same here..... the 5d mkii's low light performance is what drove me to get it...despite tje older AF which quite frankly is good enough for "my" shooting situations...it also gives me added confidence that I can make the shot no matter how bad the lighting....
