Great shots Brant, love that first lumpy green one.
Thanks Jan, the skies here are good in winter, normally have to fight for room in good spots when the sky "colours up".

Ha....funny you should mention, but I think Microsoft has used the Palouse for several of it's screen savers....look familiar?
yep I think that was in the back of my mind- but I like your image better

I'm about 12hr drive from Palouse/Pullman, my road-trips usually take me down the otherside of the Rockies on the I15 though Montana then into Idaho - Idaho Falls, Pocatello... some similar but not quite the same. Might try a route that way on the way to Portland or somewhere on the coast.

A storm over The Firth of Clyde approaching Royal Troon Golf Course.

Taken last summer with 1D3 + 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 hand held from my hotel window. This is a single image processed with Nik HDR Pro.

Steve, you are on a roll. Good stuff.
Joel, good to see you posting in landscape! Nice PP, I still struggle with HDR

I find landscape quite difficult, but here's a recent one that I didn't immediately recycle bin.
