I certainly haven't sniffed a 1DX, but this room has.

The sad part is, the room is full because it seems that many of the Pro's are using Nikon's this year. Don't believe me, just start doing a count of big black lenses vs big white lenses tonight.

I definitely watched one of 6 or 7 photographers behind a gymnast last night stand there going back and forth between his viewfinder and the LCD on the rear of the body. Back and forth... like five times. All the while, it was clear to the TV audience that his lens cap was on. He finally figured it out though.

No, it was a black lens, but unfortunately the cap clearly said Canon.

Actually it says Nikon on the lens and camera, plus you can see the gold trim on the lens. This could never happen to a Canon shooter...

Bet we're all guilty of this at one time or another. Luckily for us wasn't broadcast on national TV.
