Sampling of photos I have taken with the lens. Click on the image for a full-size (100%) version. The f-number is in the filename.

By the way, what are the main reasons you decided to switch from Canon to Nikon? Was it anything to do with lenses?

It was for dynamic range, megapixels, and video. You can read my thoughts on it here:

I know you are not interested in feedback, but Batgirl is a classic shot, love it.

Thanks! Usually I can't tell if shots of my daughter are really any good because I'm so biased. But that one is my recent favorite. I'm planning to upgrade the 8x10 hanging in my office to a 20x30.

Certainly deserves a 20x30, no bias from me. But the bubble blowing is a very beautiful image as well.
These sort of shots are inspiring for all of us and I would encourage their submission, whether they are Canon, Nikon or parental favourites. And Grand parental favourites(Wally). Keep them coming.

I hope you plan on still sticking around here and fill us all in on your Canon vs. Nikon hands-on experience! Plus, we still need for you to continue to help us out by sharing your insight and knowledge!

FWIW - I owned the Sigma 50mm and it truly is a great lens as you can tell from the photos above! Whomever buys it will be very pleased!!
