Hi, usually I prefer to submit new photos to the assignments (taken particularly for the assignment), but this time I have one in the archive that I think fits the assignment too well to be overlooked:

During a holiday trip last summer I was just walking around for some street photography when this man suddenly walked up to me and asked me to take a photo of him. This was the first (and so far only) time an adult stranger asked me to take a photo, and of course I did. I showed him the result on the LCD and he just did a thumbs up sign and left without a word (so I suppose he liked it). Maybe he disappointedly looked for his portrait in the local newspapers afterwards, but until now it has never been seen anywhere else than on my monitor.

I got the impression he was a friendly and happy dude, but most of all I think he has a very characteristic look that may not be categorized as beautiful, but still sort of photogenic.

Taken in Lake Geneva, WI with T3i and 55-250 at f/5.6. I was shooting the fountain when this little girl walked in the frame and I couldn't resist taking the picture!

I posted this one a few weeks ago in the Street photo thread, but I wont have a chance to capture anything better before this assignment is over.

Can someone tell me how to download a photo so that it does not post the size of a postage stamp yet not exceed the allowed size?

I am useless at picking one image. Absolutely rubbish.

I'm going to go with THE SECOND one.

I'll edit this post to say otherwise if I've changed my mind.

But I'd also like to add this one to the thread:

    My Dad's a Genius

    And this one:

    Spirals

Which would have been my selection, but I don't feel it's got enough about the stranger in it.
