    I 've just been out playing with my new toys, 5dMkII + 70-200 2.8L IS II, (oh yeah and a puppy)


    I'm really impressed with the lens camera combo, these are mega compressed and cropped, and still OK i reckon,

    Glad to see that someone else gets good use of the 300mm f4L! I got one after my 100-400mm was stolen, as the 100-400mm was just too expensive. (Eventually, I got a Sigma 120-400mm OS lens.) I was very pleased with the color, sharpness, & IS. WIth the Caon 1.4x extender, it goes as far as the 100-400mm and looks at least as good. (The 100-400mm will go further with the extender, of course, but it doesn
