    2014 - Image of the Week #20

    This entry period for Week 20 will be from Monday May 12th through/including Sunday May 18th.

    Only two categories of images will be judged:

    1. Portraits -- Anything with eyes; people or animals
    2. Landscape -- Country, town, city, sea, abstract, things (water drops, smoke, flowers, candles, and so on)


    Each category will have a single winner each week. This week will be judged by M_Six

    Please supply a title for your image and which category it is entering. Enter as many times as you would like, old or new images.

    We were blessed to have the supercell and tornado turn north then weaken significantly to strong straight-line winds. Always fun having the kids all curled up in the basement at once. This was the calm before the storm.

    The famous statue of Man-O-War in the paddock at Churchill....we went for the races and buffet lunch to celebrate Mother's Day.

    Nasty looking clouds, Jayson. Last time I saw them that bad was about 15 yrs ago in Kentucky horse country coming out of a restaurant after dinner. An hour later we had two pairs of tornadoes pass by either side of our motel. Scary stuff.

    I have seen them this dense once before and it ripped our farmland to shreds shortly after. I was hoping for the best. Looked like the two EF 1s made there way about 3 miles west. Thanks for the kind words everyone.
