Has anyone dealt with this online company? I found them doing a "froogle" search and they absolutely destroy the competition when it comes to filter prices!

Thanks Oren! I should have searched before I posted [:$]. So did it work out for you?

I contacted maxsaver and asked them about how long I'd have to wait until it ships to my country - they said around 8-15 business days. I didn't want to keep shooting without the UV protector on my lens for 2 weeks, so I ended up buying the filter from a local store.

I placed an order on July 10th and still no filter [:(]

Mark:

Please keep us all informed. I too looked at their website after seeing this thread. I've been intending to order some stuff but just haven't got around to it.

Your experience will have a big bearing on what I decide to do.

Thanks!

Well, to me, they said 8-15 business days... it's only been like 11 days since you placed the order and few of them are not even considered business days.

Anyhow, as EdN said, keep us all informed.

B+W 77mm UV Haze 010 (MRC) Multi-Resistant Coating F-Pro Glass Filter

Ordered on 07/10/2009 Received on 07/24/2009

The filter and box it came in look exactly like my other B + W filters ordered from Adorama or B&H. I'd say if you don't need your filter to get to you quickly then MaxSaver is a great deal!

Thanks for keeping us informed. Based on your success, I think I'll pursue getting some stuff myself. The stuff I want I don't need right away so 2 week delivery from the far east isn't a problem.
