40d firmware update

Occasionally, Canon releases firmware updates to fix issues with their cameras, and sometimes to add features. Wondering what the odds were for them to release an update to add micro-adjustment to the 40d or even the 5d?

I would say probably pretty low:

1. It takes away a reason to buy a new camera.
2. It might require a lot of work to implement.
3. It would be adding a major feature to an existing product, meaning they may have to charge for the update.


It would be nice though, how about the XTi? :)

While I think that would be a nice upgrade, I agree with Anthony - it is unlikely to happen.
