I'd back off a stop or so on the overhead light and then I'd hit it from camera left or right with a small softbox to fill some and get a nice catch on the beads.

based from the shots you posted, i'd say have a reflector (a white piece of paper or cloth) on the other side of your main light to bounce the light and show more details or angle it to your liking. stop down on your main light too.


but those are just my preference :)
