The T1i Review

In the very beginning of the T1i review, it says "Introducing the <span style="color: #ff0000;"]6^th model in the wildly-popular Canon "Digital Rebel" DSLR line,..."


Isn't the T1i the 5th model of the digital rebel series? If I remember correctly, the rebels go like 300D/350D/400D/450D/500D. So the 500D, which is the T1i in North America, should be the 5th generation of the digital rebel.


Correct me if I'm wrong though :)

I think you missed the Rebel XS or 1000D

300D = Rebel
350D = Rebel XT
400D = Rebel XTi
450D = Rebel XSi
500D = Rebel T1i



The 1000D or Rebel XS is an odd member of the rebel family. It shares a lot of characteristicsof the XT and XTi

I was indeed including the Rebel XS/1000D as it is a "Rebel" body. It is an "odd member", but since it had the name (and very similar characteristics), I included it.
