I have a 400 f2.8 IS L that I am selling as it is no longer getting the use that it deserves. I purchased it new from Adorama in June 2008. The lens is exceptionally sharp and easily surpasses my 70-200 f2.8 IS and my 24-105. Date Code: UVI224
I am located in Los Angeles and would prefer to make a local sale, but I am willing to ship to a reliable buyer.
Only signs of use are on the tripod foot where some of the paint is lightly scratched / chipped, with a mounting plate this is not even visible. (see photo). The glass is perfect no scratches nicks ect.
Price: $6,000. (Note: It is currently selling new at BH Photo for <span class="value"]$7,190.00 -- You save $1,190 for a Exc + condition used lens)
I would also consider the idea of trading for a Good/Exc Cond. Canon 600 f4 IS with cash stipend.
