I really like how the colors came out - the water is beautiful and the sky is nice and soft. I like the curving line of the water too - nicely done!

When I read the title I was thinking construction crane and pictured
some sort of dock yard scene (I've always been a fan of construction
equipment with all the really cool lines and what not but any way.

I
was really pleasantly surprised when I actually saw the photo. I like
how sharp the land in the background is (I normally get stuck with
really windy evening when I go for these sorts of things and everything
is all blury), and especially how sharp the crane looks especially with
a 2 second exposure. The waves with the sun coloring creates a really
enjoyable "oil-slick" sort of look. Very nicely done all around I
think.

Very beautifull picture! When I first read it I thought as well it would be a construction crane but was I surprised. The timeing of the tide/waves is spot on. Wonder what it would like with a square crop just leaving the orange in the sky instead of the gradial gradiant into blue? Dont alwaus have to stay in four thirds, but its just an opinion, but once again overall a great shot!

LOL, it replaced the original pic up top with the cropped new version? Don't know how that happens.

Well composed, I like how you placed the horizon and the tiny crane (I believe it's an egret or heron) in this image. Thought the the bird is small, it still draws the viewer eyes to it.

Nice shot. I like the colors and lines.

What I want to know is how you got the bird to stand still for 2 seconds! :)

This is simply lovely. It's a great shot and I like it in every way. The smooth texture of the water is -in this case at least (I don't usually like it)- very relaxing, as the colors.

Good job
