When I first used this lens, it was a wedding in a church with dimmed light. I didn't know how to handle the Speedlite so I screwed up the shots. I was frustrated and had the thought of returning this lens.

But then another day I happened to take this dawn shot and was stunned by its color, guess I just have to work on my low-light shooting skills

Those are incredible colors. But what happened with the wedding shots?

Well, it was the first time I use the 580EX II, and I didn't know how to use it properly. All I got was unnaturally lit shots which seemed exactly as those built-in flashes would do and I realized that with the external flash mounted on top I could no longer do portrait shots properly (the flash will be coming from the side)

Simply put, I am not comfortable enough for low-light shooting yet... need more practice

Wow, that last shot is amazing. My eyes keep darting around the image trying to take it all in. Well done.
