Oh my gosh!! These photos are breathtaking! I have been trying for the longest time to get my butt out of bed early enough on the weekend to go down to Lake Michigan to get photos of the sunrise over the lake but haven't quite managed it yet. Now you have given me more determination!!

WOW!
I love the second one and the last is a view I have never seen, like the contrast.
Hi All,
Thanks for viewing and commenting on the shots, it's winter here at the moment and fairly cold which creates good conditions for these shots also the atmosphere/ air is very clean around here which helps as well.
These shots were taken on the same mornings.

it's a little more to the west. Bryce Canyon National Park. I woke up before the sun hoping for a great sunrise, but a cloudless sky really disappointed me. This shot was taken about 90 minutes after sunrise between Sunrise and Sunset Points.

Just saw you were from New South, where abouts ? We have a couple of Ozzies here, I'm from Eidsvold Queensland & Ben is from the great Mt Isa.
Hi Scott,
Thanks, glad you like the shots, had to get up in the freezing cold for those. Mudgee NSW 300ks inland from Sydney. Very cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Not sure I know your area but I've been through Mt Isa a long time ago.
