...and I'm in lust! I was only allowed to use it on a 5D Mk II at the Canon Expo today. But it was enough to suck me in. Anybody else have this lens ($1400 list?) on their short list?

While I'm sure I would have fun with this new uber wide glass, the 24-70, at around the same price would probably be more practical for my uses. My 24mm tilt shift is about as esoteric as I plan on going.

What this would be great for is capturing light probes on location for visual effects HDR's. I hope you will get it and share your experiences.
