is this a good set for dslr video with my 550d? i heard that these are really good any experiances with them? thanks Caleb

I compared the 501HDV with the 503HDV in the camera store and the difference was night and day. I would not use the 501 for video unless the shot was going to be wide angle or locked off. If you need to shoot telephoto or having movement (especially tilt), then I strongly suggest upping to the 503HDV. I went with one 503HDV and one Vinten Vision Pro.
