I shot this kangaroo in the back yard, but he was totally stoned.

I spent ages and ages sitting on my butt in the garden waiting to get a shot of a partially obscured mother plover and her chick. (ages and ages read 10 minutes)

I prefer an lighting effect on the first, as well as the splash of color the tongue gives.
On the second I went B&W to help mute the plant and walls in the background.

edit: Fixed lens description. Somehow I called it the 50mm f/1.2 II. That's what 1AM does to you.

I kept seeing this little critter through the screened window, eating crab apples. I knew opening the door to get a better shot would frighten him, but went for it anyway. This is pre-flight.

Wow, great pictures everyone.

I didn't get much dedicated "photo" time this week. But here are a few I did get a chance to grab.

The sky was angry that day my friend. Straight off the camera, as shot, just in the right place at the right time.

@ erno, I think your skies are moody rather than angry and your vines look like they are about to rumble and drop them leaves. Nice shot.

My skies reflected the temperament of my wife at the time, as she sat in the car waiting for it all to be over.

Jon, I really love that shot of your Father, it looks like it could be on Canon's Website advertising the 35mm f/1.4

Erno, Very Cool Shot, can you kindly explain how it was taken, and with what gear and EXIF data? I'm guessing that someone was swirling the glass, but it also looks like there is a window in the background. Thanks!

I agree that the shot would have been better without that empty glass in the foreground. But it doesn
