So which way to go, using lensalign to set the AF for my 24-70mm I can't decide which setting to use. I ran a series of 4 sets and this is the average. Each test was consistent.

Plus 1 gives me 49 shots Front Focus, 18 shots On Focus and 17 shots Back Focus.

Plus 2 gives me 25 shots Front Focus, 14 shots On Focus and 41 Back Focus.

So should I go with Plus 1 which Front Focus's slightly more often.

Or Plus 2 that Back Focus's slightly more often.

Which would give the best results?

Is this at 24mm or 70mm?

Sorry just making sure this was at 70mm. Is there a reason you took 4 more shots with plus 1? I'd probably go plus 1.. I have heard, although not tested my self, that focus accuracy will change with hot/cold temperature changes.

Its really hard to say. Where do you normally focus on a persons face? If you are focusing on anywhere other than their eye, I would go with the setting that has a stronger bias towards back focusing. If you focus on the eye then go the opposite. Hope I didn't get that backwards but you get the idea.

In that focal range, DoF is unevenly distributed around the focal point - more is in focus behind the focal point than in front. So, I'd go with +1.
