View Full Version : FS Canon extension tubes

Alright I made my dumb mistake for the week.
I bought 2 used extension tubes online(12mm and 25mm) and thought I got a great deal, but realized after they shipped that they are version I not II. Seeing as how I want to use them with an ef-s lens, they are not of any use to me.
They are both in perfect condition (25mm has a tiny little scratch but thats it).
Anyone interested reply to this or email me at nvitalephotography@gmail.com

I dunno, I heard the version II got a significant upgrade to L class air. :D

if anything the air got downgraded in version II since it works with the lowly ef-s lenses now.

I heard they harvest the L grade "aire" on the upper slopes of mount Nicaragua. No artificial sweeteners.

Yeah I know....I actually just ordered a set of kenko tubes from B&H yesterday. I just managed to get the both the canon ones for just under $150 total. So I figured that was a good deal, until I realized they were version I and therefore not useable with my setup.
But hopefully someone else on here will be able to use them with their setup.

Whats the asking price? Is it secret classified information through email only?

well I still have these, so, I just listed them on ebay. so if you are interested check them out and bid with confidence. They will probably go cheap so Im sure you can get a great deal on them.

can someone explain to me any other additional differences between mk1 and mk2 (besides the EF-S compatability with version II?)

That is it. That really is the only difference. So if you dont need to use them with an EF-S lens version I is just as good as version II
