I am retired now and just do not use my awesome lens, so it needs a new home! This superb lens is in 9-9+ condition with hard case and shipping box that I received it in from B&H. Glass is perfect, no scratches or dents, and has a lens specific camo covering for the body. $6,200 delivered. I also have a soft case available for the 600 - $50 and a drop-in polarizer $40.

Just to be clear .... Is it the 600mm f/4L IS USM ?

And can you provide the serial number?

Sorry, for the delay, but busy all weekend. The serial number is 21164. If you would like to see pics, I have several.

Pictures are always welcome. Joel had talked about getting a 600mm in 2012. The pics might push him over the edge;)

Being new, I have to ask - where can I post them?

if you have an account somewhere (flickr, ect) you can just type in or copy the link here. The other way is using the rich format button instead of just reply. That should take you to a screen that looks more like a word processor. In the second row, a little over half way to the right, you'll see a filmstrip icon for insertimg video and one icon that almost looks like a picture for inserting pictures. once you click that, adialog box will come up. Three tabs to chose from. Might want to use the one for your desktop. Click the browse button. Select your pic. Click upload:)

Hey, seller and buyers, just one thing I don't understand, what kind of lens are you talking about? is this the IS or non IS version?, why seller hasn't declared it and buyers don't even care?

JJ,

I asked that question very specifically on March 19th but there has been no clarification so I am not interested

When it doesn't have the IS it usually means it does not have it. But it would be nice if you speccified it though.

Cheers,

John.

Since it has a switch labelled "Stabilizer Mode", I would have assumed it has IS. I guess I could be wrong. [;)]

I made that comment before the title was changed. What I ment was when it doesn't have the IS in the name it usually means it does not have it.

Cheers,

John.
