YES

Here is my analysis

Much of this can be done in photoshop with masks and blur tools

but it is quicker with PPS10

My experience is the finished product is great for a magazine cover, but for the everyday portrait the finished product has smooth skin but it is not the same person you photographed.

The more I play with this new toy, the more I start to like it.

Of course you have to be gentle in how much you touch up the photo, but that goes with any photo program.

Now where can I find an Real ugly Face [:P]...... LOL

Love the pic by the way wally. Looks a little like George Bush. Might want ta clone the teeth back in though. It smoothed them out a bit.

Should prolly add that the $40 was for the standard version with an upgrade to studio for another $90.

Ummm ....for $90, I think I will just go au natural unless I make some $ from making people looking beautiful!

I use the $40 version. I am careful not to use much face sculpting or skin smoothing. I like to keep it looking natural and I like the speed.

I do sometimes have a customer want me to really do them up. Some like it and some don

I use Window 7 64 bit and it works fine. The 64 bit is a bit faster, but I find this version is OK for me.

Like all of these types of programs "they are not perfect". Photoshop, NIK, Lightroom, etc, all have their strengths and weaknesses, however by not over doing too much in PPS 10 (or any other program), you can achieve reasonable natural looks in a reasonable quick time in.

I have not mastered this Simple and (cheap to purchase program) fully yet,[*-)] but what I have seen so far is pretty good. Love the ease of use.
