Shifting focal plane, I mean...
I thought the unit was backfocusing, and it is, but it doesn't do it at 1.2. As you stop down, the focal plane shifts back.
I'm sending it into Canon, but I'm afraid that it's going to turn out to be just the way it is.
The 35mm f/1.4L and the 85mm f/1.2L II don't do this. I checked them.
Anybody else have a 50mm f/1.2L and can verify/deny about this behavior on their copy? If it's a design flaw, and the f/1.4 doesn't do it, I'm going to dump the damn thing and just get the cheap version , because this is CRAP.[:(]
