Recently got a very good deal on a new Sigma 180mm Macro Lens. It's one I've wanted for quite a while, and I think I'm going to be very pleased with it. Already use the Canon 100mm f/2.8 extensively so I thought I was prepared for shallow DOF but wow. Anyway, thought I'd share a few early shots. Hope you enjoy.


Reflections


These were shot with the tulip laying on a mirror. The particulars are Canon 40D, Sigma 180 @ f/25 ~30 sec, EV-2/3 and iso100. Tripod, MLU and remote release.

I poked around the site you linked to (pbase), too. Your landscapes and flora pics are fantastic. (Two things I'm lousy at :) )

Thanks guys, I've only been at it about a year and still have lots to learn but I think I've been making some progress.
