G1X RAW files in Aperture or LR3

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has experience with getting the updates required to work with the RAW files from the new G1X. Both Aperture and LR3 are not able to read the files. The jpegs are fine, but the ability to shoot RAW, was one major purchase consideration!

Adorama tells me to call Canon, Canon tells me to contact the software company (or use the DPP software).

I assume that Apple and Adobe have the updates (both software is current release as far as I can tell).

Any suggestions or help, is appreciated!

There is a release candidate from Adobe, so I assume the final version should be ready shortly.
