Have been looking for it as well, but with no success yet.

It should be in the box. Normally they even send out multiple copies for different languages:o

Mark, didn’t you preorder?
If it ships on Friday like the announcement said, maybe you can post it next week when you get yours. :)

I did but I want to know how to use it before it comes! It's my version of plug & play :-)

Very funny 😉 This my 1st pre-order. Oddly enough my 2nd came soon after (iPad3). Anyway, usually I have already read the manual twice before I open the box but that may not be the case this time around.

Lol sorry, I was just fooling around. I knew exactly what you meant. I had bought the book for the 450D(my first camera) two months prior to buying the camera. When I finally bought it I knew it inside out;)

Just turn it on, turn that dial-thingy on top to the green 'A+' position, point the camera at whatever you want, and push that little button where your right index finger naturally rests. What's to know? :p

Actually, use the "P" mode instead. It stands for "Professional (http://youtu.be/-S3NFW2c7hA?t=2m42s)."

Doesn't the green square mean you are getting the best pictures, because if it is all green it must be good right?

Right?

The 5DIII manual is now available for download from the Canon USA 5DIII page (http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_5d_mark_iii#BrochuresAndManuals). Enjoy!

I guess they learned it from Ken (http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/fill-flash.htm) (in the how-to paragraph), so it must be right.
