What is this on the photo?

As you can see in the first image, there are pink squares. This does not show up in DPP until I start to edit, on the same file, they show up randomly on the picture- they don't show on the camera and they don't show when I convert the RAW file to JPG.

This is on my brand new 7D and Sandisk Extreme III CF card- I'm not sure if that's relevant or not. Latest version of DPP as well.

I think it is DPP. Maybe it is not even adding the square to the pictures, just to the screen output.
