emm... That's weird. I haven't experienced anything like this yet.

However, I do know what I always do and had no trouble. I upload my pictures with the longer edge not exceeding 800px. while choose "7" or "8" as the quality when saving in Photoshop. The result file size is normally below 100kb (somewhere around 70-80kb most of the time).

I guess a picture smaller than 800px on the longer edge is just about the browsing resolution of a normal laptop, I found it convenient.

Don't know if this answers your question...

Maybe file size is a server euphemism for lack of content [:)]

I'm trying to use the little 'insert media' icon. I browse, it's not a particularly big file, like 800x533 or something, with DPP compression set to 6. I've tried smaller too... They're not bigger than any other files I've previously uploaded.

My service provider is comcast.

Is there a limit on the number of files total?

The limit is on the total file size.

Look at the total file size of each image and add them together, or try one at a time to see if this works.A JEPG of 6 on my camera gives about a 2 to 3 meg file size.

132 KB

I prefer to use a photo hosting site like flickr or picasa web etc.. and then link to those images here.

132Kb is small, so this is not your issue. Try to use another computer.

Your quota is 5MB, if you reach that you need to go back and delete some of the old images, or you can link it from another place.
