Hey all,

With the arrival of the 6D I've very recently gotten this possibly crazy idea of selling my entire current kit (60D, 100mm L IS Macro, and 17-55) and putting it toward a 6D kit. However, I think I'd much rather have the 24-70 f/4 L IS than the 24-105 that is currently offered in a kit, at least partly because the new one will have macro capabilities and I would be selling my 100mm Macro to afford the new kit.

Anyone know if this new lens will be in a kit with the 6D? The lens is already available to purchase, but not as a kit that I've been able to find.

Thanks for your help,

Alex

Here in Switzerland, some shops that sell the 6D announce a kit with the 24-70 f/4 L on their website, though it isn't available at the moment. I guess it is a safe bet to assume such a kit will be available soon.

Local shop here offers kit

http://www.vistek.ca/store/DigitalSLRs/266307/canon-eos-6d-w-ef-2470mm-f40l-usm-kit.aspx

But I find they offer more kits than I find on B&H so not sure if it's a canon kit or shop option.

Thanks for the info friends. I guess I can keep looking/waiting for it to show up. I figure it would be at least $300-$400 more than the 24-105 kit. Does that sound about right?
