We were blessed to have the supercell and tornado turn north then weaken significantly to strong straight-line winds. Always fun having the kids all curled up in the basement at once. This was the calm before the storm.

Glad it missed you, was wondering what that kind of cloud formation was called - every 20 years or I see it.

Nasty looking clouds, Jayson. Last time I saw them that bad was about 15 yrs ago in Kentucky horse country coming out of a restaurant after dinner. An hour later we had two pairs of tornadoes pass by either side of our motel. Scary stuff.

I have seen them this dense once before and it ripped our farmland to shreds shortly after. I was hoping for the best. Looked like the two EF 1s made there way about 3 miles west. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Good Morning, Folks.

Joel's guitarist portrait - Paul - takes it this week. Flawless image. Nicely done, Joel.

And as I'm a sucker for IR type shots, I'll go with Sean's Cane Creek Park for the landscape shot.

As always, the other shots are all outstanding. The geese, the tulips, the sunburst; all impressive. Same with the other portraits. Well done, everyone.
