On behalf of nvitalephotography, I would like to present the topic for Assignment #66: Weather.

As described by Nick:

For me living in Florida, this time of year is all about the weather. The thunderstorms are like clockwork and often become the subject of many of my shots. For this assignment, show us your best shots that involve the weather. This doesn't need to be a photograph of an actual storm or anything but the weather should be an important element in the shot or at least set the mood. Anything from some crazy clouds, to a photo of a fresh layer of snow, to a couple kissing in the rain, to a sunset made possible from amazing clouds.

The Finalists:

Great picture erno. It's not easy to get an original one of this mountain.

Lots of greats atmospheric shots so far. Keep them coming.

Imagine some of the most extreme weather conditions on earth, storm force winds and very low temperatures with no shelter anywhere. That's what penguins (and their photographers) have to put up with.

Not a lot of weather other than a cold front lately. So I will pull one from the archives:

Congratulations Andy! And you only had to go to the ends of the earth for the shot :)

Thanks for the votes. I'll think of a new topic soon and let Brant know the details.

And you only had to go to the ends of the earth for the shot :)

Well, I won't have to go any further than my computer for the next assignment.
