Lens prices going up before the Rebates?

I had been anticipating the Spring Rebates and noticed my 16-35 L II in watch list on Adorama jump $100 overnight.


So I went over to B&H saw it was still the lower price so I bought it, just incase there won't be rebates due to the economy.


It will be here tomorrow! It would be like Christmas if it wasn't me paying for it.
