This lens was purchased new from Adorama in December of 2008 and is in terrific condition. The only signs of use are minor marks on the lens hood. A UV (Ultra Violet) Glass Filter has been on this lens since it came out of the box!


I also have aFT: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens ("/forums/t/1127.aspx) thread up as well where I am looking to trade for a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens.

I have 17-85mm but I don&rsquo;t like it at all (too slow for shooting kids) and use 24-70 most of the time as walk around lens. <span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"]However, 24-105 give me more range and it&rsquo;s also good for travel. 24-70 is too heavy for a dad with two kids.<o:p></o:p>
