"Boat House"

Just clearing up some of my sets of photos and I had forgotten about this shot. It was taken quickly, late for a dinner, but we had stopped for drinks to show a few people Lake Louise. Walking back blue hour hit, and I saw the boat house on Lake Louise with a single light on. My tripod was in the car, which was too far to get and still have the blue light, so I upped the ISO, dropped shutter speed, opened up the aperture, did my best to shoot a nice steady image, and took a bunch of frames. Thus the 1/25, f/2.8, ISO 2500 settings. This is 2 pictures merged together.

Sunrise (with ducks!)

I learned this from Brant --- when the ducks show up, keep shooting! This morning's sunrise from Main Street, Canmore.

No worries. I was thinking you could have meant the "Sunrise Ducks" shot of Jonathans. After all, you know... it has ducks ;) (In addition to being an excellent landscape!)

But, feel free to confuse my Canadian landscape shot with "a Jonathan Huyer."
I am nothing but complimented.:D

I have quite an unfair advantage out here -- I could drop my camera and it would take a good picture! I feel like I'm cheating most of the time :)

Thanks everyone. I agree, the competition was great. All were awesome. Since I was traveling for work, I missed that I won.
