2020 - Image of the Week #16

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."




Week 16 entry period will be from Monday, April 13th through/including Sunday, April 20th.
Please provide a title for your image.
This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
Enter as many times as you would like.

Mistaya Canyon

I went on a drive along the Icefields Parkway (the road that connects Banff and Jasper). It was a bluebird day, and all these touristy sites were pretty much deserted.

Strong week everyone! Terrific, varied entries.

Two in particpular jumped out to me. Zach's Thirsty Work is a great macro example. It was a very 'A Bug's Life' glimpse into another world. The other, and my choice for the week is Joel's Sunset Flight. I'm a sucker for interesting lighting and moody clouds, which this has in spades. Nice separation of the subject, and just an overall great feel.
