Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."





Week 31 entry period will be from Monday, July 27th through/including Sunday, August 2nd.
Please provide a title for your image.
This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
Enter as many times as you would like.




This week will be judged by Sean Setters.

Thanks very much! There weren't a lot of entries but my jaw sure dropped when I saw Kari's pano --- very nicely done.

Moraine Lake is one of those iconic spots in the Canadian Rockies, and a summer sunrise photo here is almost a 'must-have' for the landscape checklist. It has been sorely missing from my own portfolio, which was starting to gnaw at me. You need a pretty early alarm call to get there in time, but I finally decided to get it during a rare streak of sunny weather when I knew it would work out. Some canoeists were out on the lake also watching the sunrise, and when one of them started to paddle to shore they created a golden wake behind them in the ripples. I thought it added a nice touch to the shot, although you really have to zoom in to see it.
