2021 - Image of the Week #15

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."



Week 15 entry period will be from Monday, April 5th through/including Sunday, April 11th.
Please provide a title for your image.
This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
Enter as many times as you would like.


This week will be judged by Johnathan Huyer.

Hey everyone - Great submissions this week. The wide variety of subject matter makes this especially fun for me! Can I call this a tie?? I can't decide between Kari's "Reflections" shot and "Good Morning" by cls. Kari's shot is a real stunner, one that I can gaze at for a long time. Plus it is technically excellent, which makes it all the more compelling. The "Good Morning" shot by cls is a great composition, helped by both advance planning and obviously a healthy stroke of good luck. If I have just one minor quibble is that I think it would possibly look better as more of a panoramic crop (i.e. take away a bit of the water and perhaps some of the sky). But that's just one viewer's opinion.

Meanwhile, I appreciate all of you who are keeping this thread alive and vibrant while some of us (like me) are distracted by other things. I do need to pick up my camera again and do something with it!

Heh, thank you =) I think i need to start get myself outside with camera other than night time also. Kinda miss those landscape and macro imaging...even thou no macro lens at my bag atm. Mayb the new 100mm rf version gets me going again =) and congrats to cls too =)
