Hey everybody...


I have some images from a recent high school rugby game that I'd like to share. Please let me know what you think, and what I can improve in the future. All shot with a 40D and EF-S 55-250 IS (that I hope to replace soon with a 70-200 2.8 IS[:D]).

I like the last one since it has action AND emotion at the same time - either one of those is hard to capture... let alone both at the same time.

Really nice images. Crisp and sharp. I like the first best because you got all of the player's bodies. May be crop a little less on the last two. I mean whole kids are playing rugby so let's see them.

The Roff - Thank you as well! I'll consider cropping a little more generously. As for sharpness and contrast, I stopped down to f/8 to get the best from this lens.
