Osprey!
CC welcome! Just saw this guy as I was getting ready to leave because nothing much was happening. Not many birds that day at San Joaquin Wildlife Refuge.

Re: Osprey!
Uber!
Love the wings in the first. Great lighting.

Re: Osprey!
Very cool shot Brent, hope you'll run into these guys more often.
-
Re: Osprey!
That second one is fantastic!
-
Re: Osprey!
Pretty good, the second is the best.
-
Re: Osprey!
Those are great. He was just posing for you!!! I like the second one best.

Re: Osprey!
For the second shot, do any of you think that gradient on the background is too much?
-
Re: Osprey!
The second shot is my favorite, but the gradient seems a little too much.
-
Re: Osprey!
Show us the original (without the gradient) so we can tell which one is better.

Re: Osprey!
Here you go. It does not seem as sharp as the other one, but I guess that is not the important thing right now anyways. It seems that people only say it's too much once somebody else suggest it. I am wondering if it is the power of suggestion. I feel that it lacks without the gradient. I was imitating a graduated neutral density filter, but those go from top down, not bottom up too.
