Cheap flash Cactus KF36 vs Vivitar DF 383 or other

So I'm looking for a second off camera flash (I have a 430ex) and I know the vivitar 285HV is highly recommended and so the KF36 I would presume to have the same backing. On BH I saw the DF 383 and am interested if anyone knows anything about that as well. are cactus products only available on ebay and will either flash work with the ctr-301p wireless triggers?
