So this weekend while away I took my friends T1i and took some shots with it in RAW plus jpg. He sent me the raw files, but my DPP won't read them. Anybody have any idea why?

So this weekend while away I took my friends T1i and took some shots with it in RAW plus jpg. He sent me the raw files, but my DPP won't read them. Anybody have any idea why?
I am updating DPP, so I hope that will fix the issue.

Here it is! Canon T1i, 100mm f/2.0, at 2.0, ISO 200, 1/160 (cropped and brightened 1/2 stop in DPP.)
